Food & Exercise -- 9/16/2004
Food -- another day -- the last -- at class downtown, where I brought
my food with me: 6:00 (driving to subway station): ready-to-drink chocolate protein shake 8:00 (class): 2 hard-boiled eggs 9:30 (class): microwaveable hot cereal -- apple cinnamon oatmeal flavor 1:00 (class): sandwich w/ 1 slice whole wheat bread, 84g roast chicken breast, 1 slice f/f cheese 2:15 (class): 130g strawberries 4:30 (class): All Bran cereal bar 6:00 (during workout): sports drink 8:00 (driving home): banana 9:00 (home): 2 poached eggs on 1 slice whole wheat toast w/ 3 slices melted f/f cheese; 3 mint meringue cookies 11:30 (home): 1/2 cup f/f cottage cheese w/ garlic & herb seasoning Totals: 1528 calories, 31g fat (18%), 200g carbs (52%), 115g protein (30%) Exercise: 6:00 p.m. -- Olympic lifting: Shoulder warmups Classic snatch: 1x5 w/ hollow bar; 1x5x15kg/33lbs; 2x4x17.5/48.5; 3x3x20/44 Clean pulls: 1x5x35/77; 1x4x45/99; 2x3 (really 2 sets of 3 singles spaced 10 seconds apart) x 55/121 Back squats: 1x5x20/44; 1x3x30/66; 1x3x40/88; 3x3x50/110 Standing abs pulldown: 1x15x50; 1x15x60 Skipped cardio in favor of hot tub and steam room. I am way overtired and should have gone to bed long ago! (Tomorrow I am not going to the office and not working too much, but I have a day's worth of work to do over the course of the weekend.)
