Mon: Nothing
Tues: 30 minutes elliptical, shoulder workout (presses, rows, tri
pushdowns), Ab work
Wed:20 minutes elliptical, legs workout (extensions, ad/abductor, calf
raises), Ab work
Wed night: Circuit training 40 minutes, broad jump practice
Thurs: Nothing
Fri: 30 minutes elliptical, chest workout (presses, flyes, pushups,
curls), Ab work
Sat: Broad jump competition. I bombed. I didn't even perform as well as
I had in practice. Made me wish I'd done my heavy lifting instead of
reserving my energy for jumping. I was depressed for the rest of the day
:-(
On the bright side, four of my team members took gold, and we tied with
another team for second place in the county. But I should have done
better. Ugh.
Sun: Ab work, stretching, avoiding the goodies at a baby shower.

Now I'm training for the shuttle run in March, the shoulder press in
April, and working on my running program for the 5k in May.

Amy (vowing not to choke again!)

Isn't SF very hilly? That must make it more of an effort too!

Yes, lots of hills. Yesterday's run was all flat, all around the bay,
downt rhgouh South of Market, China Basin, the Embarcadero to
Fisherman's Wharf. I won't be able to run Wed or Thurs, so I'm doing
my hill work tonight and one of my easy runs tomorrow morning.

The hills in my neighborhood are very steep as well, it's great
training, though not exactly what I'm thinking when I'm tunning up
them.

No, I didn't post my workout from this past week. Let me do that ASAP.

Things have been crazy on the homefront, too much going on recently.

So what else is new, Mothra? Has there *ever* been a period of your
life that has *not* been a Big Fat Messy Soap Opera...???
