goal: 5,000
actual: 4,529

I knew it would be a sedentary day because I had to videotape 3 hours
of football from the press box and then had stuff going on after work
that would preclude me from doing much walking. When I realized I
wasn't even going to make my pathetic little goal, I was too tired to
care.

goal: 12,000
actual: 9,800

I continue to be shocked at how sedentary my life is. I work from a
home office and I just don't have cause to move that much! One of my
New Year's Resolutions was to use the upstairs bathroom rather than the
one on this floor just as a way to add incidental exercise to my life.

Like you, I was too exhausted to try to go out for a walk when I saw I
wasn't making goal. You see, my 9,800 steps includes a three mile run
along my race course including a route aptly named "Mountain Road." I
shaved two minutes off my time from last week.

I've got to believe that steps obtained by running up mountains count
for more than steps obtained strolling through malls!

Very worried about getting or not getting the new job.
Very close to bmi 25.
For the first time in ages, I watched myself in a shop window and did
not look away in horror.

Thursdays are normally a non-exercise day for me. It' the end of my 4x10
days with the daily 2 hour commute and I usually come home and crash.

I think you should be able to double those steps from running!
