Good luck Dave. I changed my life about 18 months ago and I have lost
almost 240 pounds. I am writing up my little adventure and I have the
first two parts on my blog http://darrin42.blogspot.com/.
But I have pictures.

How much weight are you trying to lose?
How old are you?

There is only one way to avoid the yoyo effect you mentioned. You
can't go on a diet to lose weight, you have to change your diet and
keep it changed forever. I can tell you that changing my diet has
changed my life forever. Not only am I slimmer and fitter, but I have
the self confidence that I always seemed to be lacking. I am am much
happier person, and according to my wife, much easier to live with.
Good luck, Dave, and everyone struggling to lose weight. I will be
posting partsd of my story as I actually write them.
Have a nice day,
Darrin
