Yeah! Good for you! You asked what will happen next, my guess is that you
will reach your goal and be the healthiest you've been in years.

Congrats!

This morning.......199 lbs! Finally! I have not seen this side

next?

Ken, it's *great* that you've lost so much weight, congratulations!

But I have a question about your pans size. How tall are you? Are you
wearing your belt at your waist, or tucked under your belly? Can you post a
picture?

I'm serious; not trying to be smart or funny. I'm trying to figure out the
clothes size difference. I was wearing 48" waist pants at 270 pounds, and
am now wearing 40" waist at 215 pounds. At 202 lbs I expect I'll be down to
38" pants; I lose about an inch at my waist for every ten to fifteen pounds
lost. The last time I wore 34" was when I was 170 pounds, and I'm 6'2".

I've always worn my pants at waist level (I gained weight with dignity!). I
have a brother-in-law though, who wears the same waist size pants as I do,
and t is 70 pounds heavier than I. But he wears his pants around his hips,
under his belly with his gut hanging over the belt. He's not really
anywhere close to the waist size of the pants that he wears.

As i said, I'm curious about a 34" waist at 202 pounds! Are you 7 feet tall
.... or built like Ahnold Schwarzenegger? g

Nope, I'm afraid I'm a gut hanger. My father (400 lbs+) wears his around
his belly button. We're both 5'8" with 28" inseams, very stocky legs, large
feet and generally stocky, if you take off the belly & other fat.

I've done that (with the belt) . When I started (307 lbs), I had trouble
tying
my shoes, balancing myself to put pants on standing up, folding a leg over
to put a sock on and even if I sucked my gut in and smashed it in as hard
as I could with my arm, I could not see where the urine was coming from.
And, I'm moderatley well endowed. It hurt to walk due to the weight strain
on my lower back.

Now I no longer need a belt & the size 34's are a perfect fit. I can suck my
gut in while sitting and have a flat stomach.

I'm excercising a TON, too - my previous longest day was 34.6 miles on my
bike. Yesterday, I got a headphone setup so I could listen to music while
riding.
I did 42.09 miles! I had energy to do more but it got dark.

Today, I'm 197 and the 34's seem a tad loose. BTW, yesterday's food intake
was:

1/4 garlic pickle (1g)
4 cups of coffee (1g)
44 oz diet coke big gulp (0g)
Arby's turkey ranch & bacon wrap (18g)
2 teaspoons of peanut butter (1g)
750 ml of diet soda (0g)
2 sugar free chocolate wafers (4g)
Total: 25g

This mornings fasting blood sugar was 77.

Ken
