We're headed on an 8 day road trip this October, from NJ to FL with stops along
the way. I'm looking for some snack ideas, since I don't have a fridge in the
car (!), cheese and anything perishable is a no-no. I'm thinking nuts, maybe
some peanut butter, and my usual frankensnack per day, any other suggestions?

I just did a drive like this, I did eat cheese daily - I also carried a
small cooler and bought ice every day - & I bought drinking water every day.

I also bought and ate raw veggies daily (or near daily) with or without dip

some cost savings measures are just not worth the effort (just pay extra
for the pre sliced and cleaned vegetables.
