FitDay problem
In the FitDay download I'm having trouble making a custom meal. When I go
to "Food Explorer," start a new custom food, and go to the "ingredients" tab, I cannot enter information and the "find a food" items do not drag into the ingredient list, as the directions say it should. Is this a bug? Has anyone created a custom meal? |

After entering this information you should be able to drag in the individual ingredients. Let me know if this works for you. Beverly |

Hi Cubit, yes I've created many custom meals, but as Beverly said, you need to make sure that you put in the serving amount stuff first before you drag the foods in the ingredient list. I was getting frustrated in the same way you are now when I first tried it because I hadn't done that step first. Otherwise I hope it isn't a bug in your program. Tell us if you fix it or not by our suggestion. Is this a bug? Has anyone created a custom meal? I haven't tried that. The only way I have found to add ingredients together to make a food, like meatloaf, is to add each ingredient in my custom list and then drag it over. That is a pain. If there's a better way, I'd like to know it. -- Jean M. New food of the week: black olives. Do away with flipfloping to e-mail. |

FitDay problem -got it
Thank you Beverly, Tavligal, and Jean M.
I did have a name "Breakfast One" on it, and the default 1.00 serving. I got it to work. The bug seems to be that if no items have yet been transferred to the "Ingredients" list, the right click on a Find-A-Food item gives a COPY choice, which fails to work, when selected. However, if I first use the Edit Menu "copy" and "paste" functions, then the "copy" selection under a right click box from a Find-A-Food item works OK. Also, I found I had to left click in the ingredients field before using the Edit menu "Paste" function. After using the Edit Menu "Paste," I could then drag foods or custom foods into the Ingredients list, like the directions said. Before that, dragging produced a circle with a line through it at the pointer. I don't have a solution to Jean M.'s problem. Cubit "Cubit" wrote in message . com...
