Quick update since my re-intro:
Just need to tell you all - 4 pounds lost! Of course, I'm sure it couldn't
have all been fat. But still. I couldn't believe I was so near 200 pounds. It's strange - at one time 160 seemed a huge number. Then when I passed it, I just accepted it. 170, 180... 200 just seems such a *major* turning point. I turned 32 on Tuesday. 32. I just look at that number and think, yeah, 32. Ever since I was a kid I thought that for a woman, 32 was the perfect age to be. Still young, but very securely an adult. Free to be as eccentric as I wish, look as great as I want (or "let myself go" if I please), do whatever I want. And here it is. I am going to make the most of being my perfect age! Nearly hitting 200 pounds and turning 32 years old were a wake-up call for me. So: I have an appointment with a personal trainer on Wednesday. I've been logging what I eat on the WW website (doing the online version) and *trying* to stay within my daily points. The Flex Points system is perfect for me; it doesn't tell me what to eat, specifically, but gives me a rough framework to do things my way. It's very simple and even though it's based on principles that I know very well, my problem has always been putting them into practice. It's so nice to be back here! 198/194/140 |
