Food & Exercise -- 1/8/2004

7:45 (home): 3/4 cup Hi-Lo cereal, 16g whey protein, 7/8 cup skim milk 11:00 (work, brought from home): protein shake 1:45 (restaurant): 1 slice raisin walnut bread, no butter; salad w/ grilled rare tuna, lettuce, tomao, pine nuts, dates, ginger, vinaigrette 6:45 (driving home from gym): energy bar 7:45 (home): 160g pork tenderloin, marinated in and served w/ Walden Farms calorie-free barbecue sauce; 168g acorn squash 10:00 (home): 1 banana Totals: 1485 calories, 36g fat (22%), 161g carbs (43%), 146g protein (39%) 5:00 p.m. -- Exercise (a pretty light session today): Shoulder warmups Snatch high pulls: 1x5x15kg/44lbs; 1x5x25/55; 2x3x30/66; 3x3x35/77 Power cleans: 1x3x25/55; 1x3x30/66; 3x3x35/77 Front squat/jerk combo -- do a front squat and then a jerk as you come up from the squat: 1x3x30/44; 1x3x25/55; 2x3x30/66; 2x2x35/77 That was it -- we dithered around a lot. And I skipped cardio and went home. I've been feeling on the borderline of getting a cold, and Ahmed is just coming back from having a bad one. Tomorrow I'll have an early workout with Tom, with, I'm sure, a cardio cross-training combo. Then in the afternoon I'll have a nice massage with Ahmed. Chris 262/167/??? |
