porking up out there?

Almost all I see on here are spams. People who are gaining weight tend not to talk about it. Haven't porked... haven't lost. Just darn busy here! Need to get more exercise in. Monday's water aerobics kicked my butt though. I meant to swim today, but didn't make it, I was so blame sore. -- Cynthia 262/241/152 |

Need to get more exercise in. Monday's water aerobics kicked my butt though. I meant to swim today, but didn't make it, I was so blame sore. Our pool opened a couple of weeks ago. I've made it there half a dozen times so far--the first couple of times reminded me which muscles I need for swimming and water aerobics, but it seems to be getting better. Today was cold and windy, leaving me with no desire to swim. But tomorrow it is supposed to be typical summer weather, so I'll be back to the pool. I love swimming, and am sooo glad to have it available again!! Yesterday I got to class quite early, and instead of swimming an eighth mile as a warm-up, I did a whole quarter mile. Barely made it. It has been a year since I've swam much. I'm sore again and really tired today, LOL! It's an indoor pool at the gym, so weather is not an issue, fortunately. I'm thinking I just need a few more classes under my belt, and then maybe some of the soreness will ease up and I can plan to swim, say, 5 days a week. That's how much I was exercising before when I was losing weight, though I was walking then. I think the soreness will go away quite quickly--and swimming is easy on the joints, and excellent all-over exercise as well. We have no lap swimming or aerobics on Fridays sigh but do have lap swimming on Saturday mornings. Tonight, several more people from last summer's aerobic group drifted back. It was nice to catch up. The social aspect does make things more enjoyable. Between aerobics and lap swimming, my daughter and I were in the water for an hour tonight, so I know what you're saying about tired!! Hopefully, we'll sleep well. Keep up the good work!! =c) |

The social aspect does make things more enjoyable. Well let's hope... I'm pretty sore again today, as I just did the same thing, swam a quarter mile, did class. I just want to drop, but hubby is on midnight shift, so I still have to fix dinner shortly. Between aerobics and lap swimming, my daughter and I were in the water for an hour tonight, so I know what you're saying about tired!! Hopefully, we'll sleep well. Keep up the good work!! =c) Good going for you and your daughter. Let's hope we all sleep well, LOL! I'm running on about 6 hours of sleep today, and need more! -- Cynthia 262/241/152 |
