So why do almost everyone who tries to lose weight by counting
calories fail? More than 95% fail.

And explain to us the bio-chemical process in our metabolism that gets
triggered by calories to either store fat or consume fat based solely
on calories.

Because they ignore the other half of the equation listed above. You missed
it too.
Don't just count the calories. Expend more energy than you consume.

There is no God. He was subject to a factory recall after several thousand
years of malfunctioning. Not sure if they are going to refurbish him and
send him back or issue a new one. If it is a new one, I hope it is a
goddess with big boobs and a short skirt. That would make getting on your
knees and looking up a little less onerous.
