Feeling puny, hanging tough
Hi Jeano, try some of my mom's "rag soup". She's 100% Italian and a great
cook! 1 can chicken broth 1 egg 2 tablespoons grated Romano (or parmesan) cheese ground pepper Bring broth to a gentle boil, beat egg and cheese together in a small bowl and drizzle into broth stirring gently with a fork. Turn heat off, grind a bit of pepper and enjoy. To really get the most out of it, gently inhale the warm aroma and enjoy. This is a very comforting soup! Hope you're feeling better soon Nancy J 209/168/145 "Jeano" wrote in message om... Hi All, Boy, do those old mind game tapes like to play, or what? I have just come down with a headcold, and my immediate reaction is to have some chicken noodle soup, curl up on the couch and watch a movie. Then I wanted to give in to my whiny side and not fix anything for dinner. Better yet, let my husband bring dinner home. However, my newly found strength kicked in, and I fixed a hamburger patty for dinner. I went to bed at a reasonable hour, and today life goes on as if I did not have a cold. Yah, I have a headache and a runny nose, but today I choose to no longer accept this as a valid reason to abandon my program. It is the little things in life that please me so. Blessings and good health to all! |

I even drug my carcass out of the house for a 30 minute walk. Now that I have started to walk regualarly, 2 days without exercise makes me feel antsy and guilty! ( Who would have ever thought I would utter those words? Blessings to all, Jeano |
