another dumb ?
Okay, been on the Induction part of my diet for 2+ weeks, losing minimal, want
to know how crucial the drinking of water is? I drink hot tea, coffee, and some flavored water, but definitely not the 8 glasses per day theory. Just curious what you all think? (Please don't rip on me too much, I've read some less than positive posts already but need to know) |

That said, if you find you are not losing much, then it's time to start looking at why. It could be the caffeine, or it could be the lack of water or it could be something else. Try cutting out the caffeine for a week or two. Try increasing your water intake for a week or two. If you start losing more, then you will know how important it is. Everyone is different, so for some people it is very important, for others it is not. -- Jim Marnott "He who has wine and meat will have many friends." - Chinese proverb |

I drink a cup of coffee or two a day myself, but I still drink at least 64 oz of water daily. You need that for a variety of reason such as flushing out your kidneys and helping to provide normal GI functions...if you get my drift there. Norsk |

Things DO seem to be snippier than usual around here lately. If you notice
certain people are pretty much ALWAYS nasty and you'd just as soon not read their posts, even if they DO have good points sometimes, decide whether or not it's worth it to you to be annoyed by them and filter them out accordingly. Some people just have an abrasive nature, but mean well, and others are simply assholes. The beauty is that you don't HAVE to respond to the assholes (they LOVE angry or hurt responses) and there ARE more NICE and supportive people here than there are assholes. Good to know. Thank you for the great info. Thank you to all the posts. I think I'll give up coffee this week and see if the lack of weight loss is due to the caffeine. Its gonna be a LONG week............ |

How about giving up the carbolite bars though?
Yes, they are in the trash already. Really bummed that they are junk though, they were my chocolate fix........now whats a gal to do about that? Giving up coffee and chocolate in the same week could really be a deal breaker. I have willpower and all, but wow! |

Just give up the chocolate for a week, and if you're still stalled give up
the coffee. For most people, caffeine is not a problem. -- JC Eat less, exercise more. -- "Tawking2u" wrote in message ... How about giving up the carbolite bars though?
