tuna sandwich
"jas" wrote in message . .. I love tuna sandwiches on brown bread, pretty much my favourite lunch time sarnie. I want to make them myself but find if I make them the night before the breads all soggy by lunch the next day and I know I wont bother to make the time in the morning. Is there a trick to it? !! Im not bothered about mayo, I prefer tuna in brine cans and add vinegar - should I just drain it for a few hours before putting into sandwich? When I make sandwiches for carrying in my lunch I pack the meat and bread separately then assemble the sandwich when I ready to eat. I can't stand soggy bread Beverly |

Put your tuna in a seperate container and assemble the sandwich when you're ready to eat it. Just a suggestion, slice some tomatos and green pepper and add a little lettuce for a VERY filling sammie |

When you remove the lid of the can, jam it back down and press hard as you tip to drain. This removes a great deal of moisture from the tuna. |
