Ah, now, LassChance....you've been given an important point here about how
to make LC work for you. A lot of people just sort of do their own thing
and get less than good results, and then say Atkin's didn't work for them,
when in truth they didn't even do it.

Om-
yes. AKA "heavenly" blue salvia. AKA "salvia divinorum" . Might be the
same thing as "Divner's sage", differen colloquial name.
The foliage does kinda look like sage.

Roger---Gotcha.

Im not having a problem with the diet.

I tested the alcohol "rule" for much the same reason I often push doors
that say, "PULL"----just to see if they're pulling my leg, or wrong, or
if there are exceptions.

(Occassionally, a door marked "PULL" does open if you push. Not often,
but it's always a thril when it does.)

Some rules you can find a way around. Some, you cant. But, it's always
worth a try.

This is what I learned:
I CAN drink a ****load of wine and still lose weight, but a lot more
slowly. Or, I CAN drink moderately and lose weight less slowly. Or, I
CAN not drink at all and lose weight quicker.

I think that's pretty good stuff to learn.

What I choose is, not drink alcohol at all until 20 lbs is gone---then
reconsider.

As the guy who jumpred off the roof said, "So far....so goooooooood..."

Following the directions boils down to a "should".

Im ok with, "what works is..." or "what doesnt work is...." but "should"
is like a red cape to a cross-eyed bull.

Following the directions is also very specifically about
cashing in on decades of effort to not only discover what
works and what doesn't, but breaking through the obvious
barriers to discover what stuff that sounds bizzare on
the surface actually ends up working better than anything
obvious.

Jesus Christ has my permission to say 'should" to me, or his Old Man.
Anybody short of that....
tell it to the hand. (or, BIOYA, to borrow a term!)

If this means you won't follow the directions in Dr A's
books, then your level of success won't be as high as
the folks who do.

A pound per week - It's the ideal rate to keep it off.
Never call a pound each week anything other than wonderfull.

If you'd had a chance to read the book yet, you would know
that specific rule onlt applies for 14 days. The entire
process is all about when and how to add stuff back in after
14 strict days. Would you really rather test the rules
and end up not taking advantage of the success of following
the rules, or would you rather follow the rules and end
up having a drink later?

You're working in ignorance, and you're doing extreme stuff.
Ignorance is curable. Read the book as soon as it arrives.
