So a diet high in brocolli is heart healthy. What a shock. Not. ;^)
Who's ever heard of a good diet plan that doesn't ask you to eat
plenty of brocolli. Mmm, brocolli. Of course some plans smile on
deep fried brocolli and some don't, but vive al difference.

Fondue. Low carb, wheat intollerant, had some left after the
cheese course finished and the oil course started. It is
wonderfull. Straight unbreaded on one of the skewer/forks.

Cauliflower is too firm, doesn't deep fry nearly as nice though
it works great in the cheese course. Brocollini/rabe/similar
are too small to work right on a fondue skewer.

I've never tried it breaded with anything, should be fine.
Should be great with a parmigiana and egg crust.

I think most plans allow deep frying broccoli. They differ in whether
you fry it in Olive oil or Crisco.

I only like broccoli steamed and smoothered in butter.

Needless to say, don't fry them in trans fat and you're all set.

Crispy veggie nirvana.

Is there a LC version?

Are you fishing for a fake JC post: Brocolli is not low carb. ;^)

On a related veggie - Uber-sprouts -

Last year Rachel Ray did a "$40 a Day" show in Raleigh/Durham
NC. Of course one of the meals included the fabulous vinegar
based Eastern-NC-style BBQ pulled pork. The interesting part
to me was the side dish. Over a quarter of the places that sell
this wonder-BBQ have brussel sprouts as a side dish. The one
Rachel Ray ate at they were not steam table. Each sprout was
cut in half and sauteed in olive oil. My wife has since beat this
version hands down:

Cut sprouts in half.
Sautee garlic, shallot and ginger in olice oil until well browned.
Toss in the sprouts and sautee until half soft.
