Importance of fiber?
and I just remembered, DH got some for one of the cats, only after he got it
home did he read it had nutria crap in it, so if that is an issue, read carefully and get the kind without sweeteners, Lee Laura wrote in message ... The female presenter was kind of off-putting and obviously trying to sell her book and fiber products. But eating a lot of fiber seemed to make a lot of sense. The foods with the highest amount of fiber were beans and whole grain cereals, which I avoided for years as a low-carber. I am tempted to try a high fiber diet for a while but am a bit worried because my blood sugar is borderline. My doctor said that I wouldn't have to worry about diabetes and cholesterol if I lost 20 pounds. My thinking is that if a high fiber diet helps me to lose the 20 pounds, it is worth the risk. fyi I also walk 10k steps a day and play 4 hours of tennis a week, and am a 62 yo male. |
