Maybe Niman Ranch bacon, very organic, very expensive, and
you can orderon the internet.

I'm curious, what are the theoretical negative results of the nitrate in
store-bought bacon?

Thanks,

-Chad

You have to go to a "health food" type store to find the no nitrate bacon.
Whole Foods has it.

Soak the slices you want to cook in water for an hour or so.. nitrates go
bye bye... then pat dry and fry up.. Also takes out alot of the salt.

You mostly might have to get that from an old fashioned butcher shop.

Then buy the bacon. You're doing fine. It's not that level of
importance. Keep an eye out and if you ever do see a brand
without, vote with your wallet and switch to that brand. Trader
Joes sometimes has it.

nitrate in store-bought bacon?

A local low-fatter watches you buy it. They have an anxiety
attack. They have a heart attack. They get rushed off by the
paramedics. It causes you to worry so much you have a Milky
Way bar from the stress of watching the events.

You can also remove nitrates by soaking the meat in water for a few
hours and then draining. Pain in the butt, but if counting the pennies
is important...
