I left this newsgroup quite awhile ago for various reasons, but felt I still
needed support on my Atkins WOE. I found a wonderful bulletin board with
some truly terrific, supportive people, who are willing to offer sound
advice and guidance on the Atkins diet.

It is a close-knit community of Atkins "by the book" people, and includes
exercise challenges, "boot camp", recipes and more. It isn't for everyone,
because you truly must be willing to follow the diet to the letter, with no
excuses.

I sometimes feel bad for Atkins folks on this newsgroup, who get answers to
their questions that are just not correct, according to the Atkins book. So,
I thought I'd subscribe just for a few minutes and pass along this
information.

The website is: www.atkinsbulletinboard.com . I have no affiliation other
than being a member. It is free. You truly need to own a copy of the 2002
edition of DANDR to fully participate. If you decide to join up, be sure
and read the forum DIET FAQs, and that will give you a solid foundation of
what this bulletinboard is all about.

I hope I see some of you serious Atkineers there!

Joan

Assuming they are reading the book, what answers would they really need
that they couldn't find, while the Atkins book? It makes no sense.

No flexibility for individual biological or social differences? I'd be
back on blood pressure meds in a couple of days in a place like that.
Sounds more like a cult than a community.
