Default Weird Hardee's Low-Carb Burger

I had my first Hardee's low-carb burger a couple days ago. We'd been
running around all day, and were both to tuckered out to cook.

The burger came topped with red onion slices, tomato slices, pickle
slices, ketchup, mustard, and mayo. I didn't know in advance what
they came with, so after I finished removing the ketchup, mustard, and
onions, I noticed that the pickles were a day-glow yellow. I took a
tentative lick, then referred one of the pickle slices to my sweet
pickle loving sweetie for a definitive answer.

Yes, the Hardee's near me puts sweet pickles on their low carb
burgers!

I keep forgetting to call them about this, but maybe my own post will
remind me.

It must not be at all the Hardee's.I had one at a store in Ala. and it had
regular dill slices. I was concerned about the sweet pickles because in my
pre-Low carb days I used to eat their $6 burger and it definitely used sweet
pickles. The ketchup and tomatoes were there, and definitely a surprise and a
nuisance.

I hope mine will soon have regular dill slices. I just wrote to
Corporate, requesting that they fix this.

I eat so few carbs that a dab of ketchup doesn't bother me, nor do the
tomato slices. I can have one tomato slice on a salad, so I hoarded
one of mine and both of Crash's in a zip-lock bag for use on salads
the next day. I just can't see buying a tomato and having half of it
go bad before I can use it all up, so this was a real treat for me!

I eat tomato's and don't feel guilty in the least bit. Was out of town
yesterday tho...and figured I'd have a subway salad. Too bad they only
had fat free dressings. Everyone of them had corn syrup as the first
ingredient. I ended up using jalapenos as my dressing. Rather
disappointing meal.
