You know, this has been a debate for years ;o)

I think the way to go with FF dressing, is like FF icecream, try and try and
try until you find one that you like...

Personally, I make my own, fruit juice (orange or pineapple) with garlic and
a timy bit of olive oil..

Or basalmic vinegar with whatever herbs I feel like..

One person's favorite always seem to disgust another.. *grin*

I've been using just vinegar for years. For many years I used Nakano
rice vinegar. Now I use pomegranate or other flavored vinegars.

thanks guys...I did a search on this site and also found some wonderful
ideas! I'm running to the store later and will get a few things.
I like the fruit juice idea and maybe making my own flavored vinegars
and such.
Thanks again!

Flavored vinegars are great to make your own. I use a tsp of olive oil to
get one of my "good fat" requirements most days. Sometimes I use Newman's
Own Light Italian. It's 2 pts. per serving and has no sugar in it.

Yesterday I saw a coupon in the paper for Wishbone salad spritzers. I
do not know the calories but it seems like a good way to get flavor
without a lot of excess.

1 calorie per spray - takes about 10 to get good coverage.

They're mediocre tasting at best and contain sugars and such. I've got two
of the flavors at home and I'm not impressed.

I just made my own:

1 teaspoon honey
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon mixed herbs
1/2 teaspoon crushed garlic
4 tablespoons EVOO
8 tablespoons home made red wine vinegar

Shake and use! I'll be drizzling a little on my salad tonight: about
half a point's worth.

The menu:

Spicy chicken, salad, hot fresh rolls, followed by fruit.

I cut the chicken breasts into strips and put them in a poly bag. Then
I add crushed garlic, a teaspoon or two of EVOO and a couple of
teaspoons of Old bay seasoning. Massage together until the chicken is
all well coated and bake for 25 mins at 180 F.

Thanks for the info. I'll stick to the flavored vinegars.
