Default Bento forcast: delicious with an aftertaste of defeat

This morning I got up extra early to prepare our bento lunches to make sure
my husband wouldn't leave late. He's been leaving at 7:20-7:30 instead of 7.

Now 7 is the time "he" decided he needs to leave. His boss doesn't even know
when he comes in...

So, I get the lunches ready, he walks the dog. He came in from walking the
dog at 7:06, was ready to go at 7:10... "I'm late again, we (meaning me)
will have to start earlier or plan better". No thank you, no nothing... just
that.

Honey, my love, my best friend... you can prepare your own ****in' lunch
from now on.

I am so angry right now ARG!

Yup, only way to go...

I take it you were ready with the lunch before he got back with the dog.
If so, the only retort is to say, 'Yeah - we'd better get the dog
fitted with faster wheels!'

The lunch was ready, all he had to do was to put it in a cooler bag.

Sorry honey, I ain't your mama, or your servant for that matter!

I'm still fuming, hours later!

no need for anger, do what my mom did, only in your case make it the night
before...

when they were first married he got all bunched up because dinner was a half
hour late... so the next day she had it all ready at one... mashed potatoes,
brown beans, brown gravy green beans and pork steaks... put it in the oven
at warm/ when he got home she set it on the table and said here it is right
on time... he looked at it, scraped the crust off and ate... from then on he
would say... is dinner on soon? i sure am hungry... Lee
