Default quizno's low carb menu -- low carb flatbread found

For those of you that choose to shop at Wal-Mart, I saw low-carb flatbread
next to the regular flatbread over by the deli section last night. It was
pretty expensive though, around $5 I think for 4? flatbreads? I decided the
10 pack of small low-carb tortillas for $1.87 was a better deal.

Dave

I haven't managed to see them. I'd like to examine the label.

My SO picked up some of those for me. I wasn't impressed, but then he
got the Italian Herb variety and I'm not wild about Italian Herb
anything. The website for these the manufacturer is
http://www.delections.com but I didn't see anything about the Carbdown
variety. The package is labeled with "4 net* carbs per serving."

A serving is actually 1/2 a flatbread (40g). 8 servings per pkg.
Calories 60
Total fat 1.5g (Sat 0g)
Cholesterol 0g
Sodium 260mg
Total Carb 12g
Dietary Fiber 8g
Sugars 0g
Sugar Alcohol 1g
Protein 6g

Ingredients: Water, Whole Wheat flour, Vital Wheat Gluten, Corn Starch,
Oat Fiber, Soybean Oil, Maltitol, Soy Flour, Inulin, Contains 2% or less
of the following: Salt, Sugar Beet Fiber, Yeast, Spices (basil, oregano,
parsley, and pepper), Dehydrated Garlic and Onion, Leavening Agents
(Baking Soda, Sodium Aluminum Phosphate), Dough Conditioners (Cellulose
Gum, Maltodextrin, Carrageenan, Guar Gum, Xanthan Gum, L-Cysteine
Hydro-chloride and Calcium Sulfate), To Retain Freshness: )Potassium
Sorbate, Sodium Propionate, Adipic Acid, Enzymes) and Annatto.

We've had these for about a month now -- have 3.5 flatbreads left.
Definitely wasn't a good deal for us. YMMV.

L.

Thanks for posting the info.

Rollergirl, could you post the email address you used to email them? If
enough people email them and demand the information, sooner or later
they're going to cave.

Here ya go, a direct link to contact them:

Bread will never be low carb, no matter how much you want it to be.

The sentence you wrote above will never be proper English, no matter how
much you want it to be.

Weird, it looked like proper English to me. Maybe she should have said
"the be all and end all of low carb."
