If it hadn't been for the United States and her magnificent Navy during WWII, you "Kiwi's" would be eating your mutton with chopsticks today. As I pointed out before, the US was not alone in that war. At one stage, in the very early days of the war, there were only two countries fighting the might of the Wehrmacht, and they were Britain and Greece.
