Default Can Fat be Fit?

I don't have the link (maybe Curt can google it), but there was a PBS
show (Nova episode?) about fat-looking folks competing successfully in
triathlons and such...one of 'em is a fat old champion runner of the
Death Valley marathon or something....

And, of course, I myself was beaten by a fat sailor friend of mine
back in my Army days...so some fat folks can certainly be fit enough!
