Glad to see the group is still going strong and lots of
old-timers still here. Been counting calories and losing
weight steadily, about 4 lb/month. Until mid-Oct when I had
a sciatic episode that put me flat for about 3 weeks. I've
made steady progress since then, and am back to work full
time and pretty much full speed finally after 12+ weeks.
Due to little appetite while on pain killers, and then no
appetite while coming off pain killers, I lost 25 pounds in
the last 3 months. Not a method I would recommend, but I
want to maintain and continue on.

Now that my appetite is back in FULL force, I'm back to
counting calories and decided I could use a little
accountability. Otherwise I'll just keep counting my
calories but not decreasing them. Been doing 2000-2500 the
last few days. Need to get back to my 1300-1600 range which
should get me back to my 1 lb/week loss.

Exercize is more limited now - careful exercizes for my
back, and other exercizes for my ankle (the chiropractor
sprained it when he yanked on it). I'm looking forward to
getting more walking in and some swimming. Its snowing
again so I can get a little shoveling in - I'm so glad to be
able to DO things again!

Cheers to all & lets keep plugging away!

Sorry to hear about the health problems but it looks as if you're back on
track. Glad to see you back and look forward to your posts.

Beverly - still plugging away, too!

Welcome back Joyce,

I don't think I was here when you use to frequent before. Way to go on
your weightloss and good luck on the remainder.

Well, hello joyce, Sorry to see you back. (gotta say that)
But of course, you are most welcome back, and you'll see alot of familiar
faces still around. And some faces that have changed their names too, but
I'm sure you'll figure it all out over time.

Hi Joyce,

I'm not an old-timer around these parts, but welcome back anyway!
