Default The Wagons Have Arrived!

The junk wagons have arrived in time for Tulip Time (www.tuliptime.org) and
they happen to set up all along my noon walking route. Don't worry though,
the prices pretty much kill any desire to indulge. Why spend $5.50 on a
lemonade that cost 75c to make at home? They have it all down there and it's
funny to see all the business people flock to the wagons on non-parade days.
I'll have to take the digital camera and post some photos. Oh the family and
I will most likely head down there on Friday night - our only time - to get
a corn dog and share some fries.

I love parade days because they close off the street and I can walk down the
middle of the street and people watch before the parade starts.

Just a side note - went to JC Penney's and got a pair of size 54 carpenter's
shorts and a couple of 2x sweaters on clearance (the sweaters were $3 each),
feels pretty good to buy clothes at 'normal' stores again...

Congrats on the shopping changes.

The festival season soon starts around here, too. The past couple years
I've managed to limit myself to a bag of kettle popcorn and a diet soda at
most of them. The first one of the season is the Strawberry Festival and I
opt for strawberry shortcakeg.

Enjoy the festival and I'm looking forward to the pictures. I'm still
hoping to ride some of those bike trails in your area.

Beverly
