Default Food and Exercise - August 16,2004

B.F - 1 toast with margarine
1 fried egg
1 cup 1% milk

Lunch - Toasted tomato sandwich
- 2 tomato slices
- 2 slices rye toast
- g.peppers
- lettuce

Dinner - WW Spaghetti and hamburger
1 slice bread w/margarine

8pm snack - 1/2 cup cinnamon life
1/2 cup 1% milk

Water - 2ltrs
Exercise - 1 hr bike ride
house cleaning

My total calories today were 1330. All in all, a very good day I was
tempted to drink some juice today but decided to have water instead. Very
much enjoyed the tomato sandwich! The whole family seemed hungry a few
hours after dinner though. I had a snack to raise my calories a bit
otherwise I probably could have done without.

Do we have another bike rider in the group? This seems to be a very popular
form of exercise lately.

Congratulations on a good day!

Thanks bev Well I don't know if you'd consider me a bike rider. I
recently purchased a bike and am very much enjoying taking bike rides, at
least while the weather stays good. I walk so much that it wasn't doing a
hell of a lot for me so biking is a good alternative. Not to mention the
"getting from A to B" factor. I use it now all the time to go everywhere
instead of having to take public transit.

I would too - it sounds delicious :-)
In fact, I marked what you'd put in it and plan to make sandwiches like that
for our long drive when we go on vacation this weekend!

Sandwiches with tomato (and I think she had peppers too?) will get
soggy if not eaten promptly. I'd suggest taking the ingredients
separately and assembling the sandwiches when ready to eat them.

Tomatos will indeed make the sandwiches soggy. It was also a toasted tomato
sandwich.
