Default Benefits of Running

A lot of people really want to get into running for health benefits,
but what many people don't realize is that running can also have other
positive effects on you and the people around you. Running can be be
great for reliving stress and depression. When you run, your body
releases endorphins, which are its natural antidepressants. You should
just try to go out and run for a while. It works wonders! Running is
great for your heart and blood pressure and can help fight disease. It
also gives you a huge boost in energy. Lastly, it is a GREAT way to
lose weight. Everyone "knows" this, but no one wants to seem to do the
work. Most people seem to be content hopping from diet to diet when
none of them work. I have a blog that has more information on what
I've been writing about. If you feel like checking it out, I would
completely suggest it.

So if you're overweight or just feeling a little down, just get up, go
out, and run! It is one of your own body's natural medicines, and a
very good one at that. Never put it off. Adhere to a strict schedule
and put in the hard work, and the results will come.

Good luck!

Running is long-term bad for the joints. Elliptical training is the way to
go.

Agree latest research, according to Runners World is that running actually
serves to protect the joints but creating a stronger cradle of ligaments and
muscle around them.

walking is actually harder on my joints, especially walking fast. During
speed walking, people tend to over extend the knee joint which can cause
tracking issues, thus causing cartiledge wear and can lead to long term
problems.

Running in proper from and taking care of oneself to make sure you keep
posture and form while running can reduce the effects of wear and tear that
has brought the bad rap to running. The reason for the bad rap has more to
do with improper running form than anything else.
