I am curious Chris, did you gain your weight slowly before deciding to
lose it?


Well, I gained sort of slowly between ages 30 and 45, then added some
more rather rapidly after entering perimenopause. I then stayed in
the 250-275 range for several years before deciding to lose weight. I
was lifting and going to the gym regularly before I decided to lose
weight, so I was relatively fit for somebody that size, so I didn't
find it a real hardship being that overweight. But I like it better
this way :-).
