Default No takers, huh?

I posted this earlier, got no response. Heh. No one wants to place any
bets on my fitting into my new pants? I know everyone skips some posts,
this group can get pretty busy, but don't skip mine. I'm awesome.

I bought a pair of faux leather pants at a thrift store today that are just
a tad too small. I can get them on, but I have to suck in a bit when I'm
wearing them or else there's a bit of a roll over the top. I can sit in
them, but I can't slouch. This is the first thing I've bought that was too
small, so now I have to continue to lose weight or I've just thrown away
$5.35. Not only that, but I have to lose enough to be able to wear them
before it gets warm again. What do you think, think I'll make it? Here's
my progress so far:

I'm in the same boat. A couple of years ago I found this wonderful black
suead calf length skirt. Size 10 for 2 bucks I think. Got it home, tried
it on and I couldn't fasten it. Its still in my closet somewhere. I
refused to get rid of it. That's part of my goal. Good luck to us!!

I, for one, don't think you will fit into your pants. You still have a fat
mind set.

WOW, Rich. I'm impressed. You have such insight into people. Why not stop
this lousy positing and open up a psychic line. Miss Cleo left a tremendous
void -- just perfect for those who think they know better than anyone else
to spew their garbage AND GET PAID!

I bought a cocktail dress for $6.95 formerly $129 at Pennys, size 10 (a
small size 10 I might add) that I bought when I weighed 190 lbs. I WILL wear
that dress someday.

The reason I didn't response earlier is because I didn't want to take the
chance on discouraging you based on my personal experience. However,
hopefully you realize that this all is a YMMV kind of thing.

After having lost 117 lbs this is what I find is the case for me. If I buy
some new clothes that fit, then it won't be very long before they become too
big. Having dropped 40 to 50 lbs since January has causee a lot of clothes
to not get their full use by me.

OTOH, if I buy something that is slightly too small, then it seems to take
me forever to get them to fit right -- almost like some curse for daring to
think that I'm actually going to lose into something. Methinks the Gods of
Weight Loss & Dieting conspire against me. However, I finally got control
over them just recently as I can now wear the last set of clothes I bought
that were slightly too small. And the thing is, I don't think my actually
usage time for these clothes will be any greater.

Okay, Rich, you must be trying to push Luna with this statement, cause
otherwise it makes no sense whatsoever.

Own up to it....
