Hello everyone!

Hope everyone's week is going great. Just wanted to share a few things.
Today was my WI and I lost 1/2 a pound! I was very pleased! I know this is
small, but it was better than a gain. Two weeks ago, I had lost 3.2 pounds,
then gained a 1/2 a pound last week. I am pleased that I finally got rid of
that half pound. I was a little depressed after I did an analysis of my
weight loss and after 22 weeks, I had lost exactly 22.6 pounds. OK, this is
great, but SLOW! But, I had a talk with myself and said, better slow than
never and better slow than fast and gaining it back! SO - there we have it!
Another thing I discussed with my leader this am is about binging. Last
Friday I ate an entire frozen pizza (for LUNCH!!) - ugh!! Well, I got it
out of my system, but I thought it would make me gain super. Well, I lost.
Why is it, after I have one day of greasy eating, I always lose? She said
that it's good to eat a lot of flex points at once than rather eat the same
everyday. We need to confuse our metabolism. I believe this works. I also
believe that this works with exercise. After doing killer aerobics daily
and not seeing changes, I decided to mix up the exercise, give myself more
breaks throughout the week and to add in weights back to my regime. It
helps too. Anyway, just wanted to share with you all. And, stopping by
here at the newsgroup daily helps me tremendously! Thank you all for your
advice, stories and support!!! Have a great week!

Congrats on losing that pesky 1/2 pound. I think you have also discovered
the art of mixing up our metabolisms helps lose weight. Stange idea isn't
it? I have one friend who always eats all of his flex points at a once and
has been very sucessfull in losing.

I seem to do best when I use most of my flex points on weekends and
stick closer to my daily target points during the week. Sometimes that
feels a bit like playing with fire, but when I evenly spread out my
flex points over the week, my losses aren't as great. Go figure. The
genius/miracle/mystery of WW is that the program has enough
flexibility for everyone to discover what works best for them. Most
people don't want to work that hard, though. Sounds like you're
willing to do whatever it takes, which is what will get you to your
ultimate goal.
