Hi folks,

Well, I upped my points a little this week, and this week, I'm up 1 lb.
I'm going to stick it out for another week though. I was detoxing this
week - which sometimes causes me to gain a little. Also, last time I upped
my points, it took a couple of weeks for that to take effect. So, although
you can hear muffled screaming and waving of clenched fists over
here.......I'm going to hang in there for another week, and hope that things
improve. If not, I'll drop the points back down again, and consider my
experiment a failure....... Mind you, I had to try something, and if
nothing else, it should have shaken my system up a bit.

Hm. This patience thing is trying.......

I'm glad that you're going to stick through this.

Have you taken your measurements? How do they look? Most importantly
though, how do you feel?

You have courage to try this. I hope it works (or I will hear you all
the way over here!)

I've never been good at patience either. I guess I'm not very virtuous!!
I hope this week brings some good news!!

Best of luck with your experiment. Patience is indeed a difficult
virtue to learn.

I don't know about my measurements - I really wish I'd taken them way back
years ago before I started all this. Still, I'm feeling pretty good, my
clothes are fitting fine (if differently), which is why I'm not sulking too
much......

The bottom line is that you need to feel good about yourself regardless of
your weight. If you're already there then you're doing well.

Do you have some old clothing that you could put on and fold over yourself?
That might help if you want to see some results.
Have you had your body fat measured professionally? That may also give you
a lift if you need one too.

Occasionally, I think that with some of my activity levels soaring,
that I am, also, not eating enough but an quite reluctant to up the
ante. I guess maybe journaling in detail would possibly help. But
figuring out the activity points is still a challenge. So, yes,
courageous.
