a bit discouraged after 2 weeks
WI today after two weeks back at WW. I have lost a total of ONE POUND.
Because a loss is a loss, down is down and I had a nice NSV (looser waist band) I am not very down in the dumps about such slow weight loss this early in the game but... Not sure but my point intake may have been 40 -50 points or more before WW. My points level is at 22 plus Flex points. Is it possible that my body has rebelled at the drop in points I'm giving it? Should I have included more exercise during those first two weeks? I certainly did use my Flex points and been through TOM and expected to lose a little more this week but it didn't happen. Last couple of days I did not journal but didn't think just THAT would make the difference. I'm hoping I can journal each and every day and not slack off near the end of my week. I WILL find out the points of an item before eating it and journal it. (i.e. found out my "breakfast bread" is 4 pts. per slice - glad I had only a few slices of it this week). Questions about my meager weightloss so early in the game: Have I busted up my metabolism that badly? Did I eat too many Flex points? Would faithful journalling helped a lot or a little? At this weight (150lbs.) do I have to exercise 2pts. worth atleast 5 times per day for a 1lb./wk loss? Any other suggestions? Medium Gnome 151/150/1137 Day 15 |

I understand your frustration! I'm a slow loser, and even in my first few
weeks, I lost very little. It is possible your body is rebelling against the point drop. Maybe it is saving up for a woosh next week. :-) You could try altering the protein/carbo ratio, to see if that does anything. Since you are a former WW, you know the importance of water, water, water. Try posting some of your journals. Maybe somebody here can offer some input. -- Wendy http://griffinsflight.com/Quilting/quilt1.htm de-fang email address to reply "Medium Gnome" wrote in message ... Thanks for the reply Wendy.
I didn't want to make the mistake of too little water but I think you make a good point about altering the protein/carbo ratio. It might take a little more effort being a vegetarian. Just got myself a "Better n' Burger" veggie burger and no points veggies for an afternoon snack. Medium Gnome "frood" wrote in message .com... I understand your frustration! When I journal faithfully, I always lose nicely. I do have to add that I am
an exercise junky, earn at least 4 points 6 days a week. -- Les "Medium Gnome" wrote in message ... WI today after two weeks back at WW. I have lost a total of ONE POUND.
