Default Recipe for Lemonade

Chop up one large or two medium lemons and put in the blender with two cups
of water

After blending the mixture until there are no lumps, pour into a saucepan
and turn on high

Bring mixture to boil, take off heat and add 3 cups of splenda, 1 tablespoon
of tartaric acid and 2 tablespoons of citric acid.

This makes a syrup or base that you can add water or soda to . If you don't
like the "thickness" strain the mixture after it's settled

you can find citric acid and tartaric acid at any drug store

cheers, Gracie

Don't you take the peel off before you do it?

Based on my experiments with rhubarb, I'd add at least one little
packet of stevia to this. I suspect that if you don't, the result
will be flatter than what one is used to.

It doesn't exactly taste like lemonaid but I find the suga-free lemon
KoolAid very palitable.

How many servings of lemonade do you get out of this batch of syrup? The
three cups of Splenda will contribute 72 g of carb to this recipe.
