Good job. Losing a point is certainly a milestone. Good luck this weekend.

At the higher weights it only drops a point with every 25 lbs, Then when you
are under 250 it drops 2 points for every 25 lbs.

Here is the breakdown from my journal:

Less than 150 pounds 20
150-174 pounds 22
175-199 pounds 24
200-224 pounds 26
225-249 pounds 28
250-274 pounds 30
275-299 pounds 31
300-324 pounds 32
325-349 pounds 33
350 pounds or more 34

I am happy that your weigher informed you of your point drop. Some of the
leaders fail to tell people that and they wonder why they stop losing. I
know personally, I had to drop a point when I was about a pound or two away
from the next level, because I was not losing. When I dropped that point, I
started a losing trend again. I have suggested to my daughter who will drop
to the next level soon, that instead of dropping 2 points at the 25 pound
mark, to drop 1 point at the 12 point mark, so it will be easier to drop the
points. This is my modified way of points.

Less than 150 pounds 20
150-162 pounds 21
163-174 pounds 22
175-187 pounds 23
188-199 pounds 24
200-212 pounds 25
213-224 pounds 26
225-237 pounds 27
238-249 pounds 28
250-262 pounds 29
263-274 pounds 30
275-299 pounds 31
300-324 pounds 32
325-349 pounds 33
350 pounds or more 34

Thats what they told me at WW that it should drop 2 points. I checked the
chart and for my weight it drops 1point.

According to this chart: http://www.lesslisa.com/wwchart.htm it is a mixture
of 1 & 2 point drops. mostly 2 points at the lower weights. Joel is correct
that he drops down 1 point.

One thing and it may be that I don't know the current "rules." Do
daily points only drop 1 point when you reach a new weight range?
Before it was two???

I like your modified chart. It is fairly easy to drop one point but 2 is a
tad harder.

Joel,
Congratulations on the loss!

The key to special events is planning, planning and planning.

Some things that work for me a
- Eat a healthy snack right before going, so I'm not famished when
faced with the buffet table. The wedding is a little tougher, but I'd
sneak in a granola bar between the ceremony and reception.

- Decide in advance how much alcohol I'm going to drink. Alternate
wine spritzers with water. Be the designated driver and don't drink at
all.

- Decide in advance how much desert I'll have. And usually I'll only
have some if it's something I rarely get. Who really needs a slice of
sponge cake with sugary frosting? (Ah, but the fruit tart!)

I'm sure you'll do well.
Best, Diane
