Buh-bye appetite
Finally! After about a month of being ravenously hungry all the time, for
no reason I can determine, I finally feel normal again. My best guess for the increased appetite the past month is a combination of the cold and wet weather, and stress over my new job. Now I feel adjusted to both, and the past few days I've been able to eat less and not feel hungry. I haven't been weighed and measured at Curves this month, which I was scheduled to do Monday, because I've been at the Y instead. But I'm pretty sure I gained a few pounds since my clothes are a bit snug. That's it though. This is being nipped in the bud right now. -- Michelle Levin http://www.mindspring.com/~lunachick I have only 3 flaws. My first flaw is thinking that I only have 3 flaws. |

I'm glad you are settling in to your new job. Even good jobs cause stress if it's a change. Speaking of Curves and the Y, I want to ask you if you think Curves is a good place to start out. The only exercise I have done in the past year is treadmill and stationary bicycle in cardiac rehab. I didn't get to the weights, and I know at some point I will need to add those. I'd like to eventually join the Y, but I'd like to learn a few things and get into the exercising habit before I commit to the Y. |

I'd check both of them out, see if you can take a free tour, and then decide. Different locations of each will offer different levels of education and support. I think I'm going to get enough support and help at the Y, because when I was doing orientation the staff members all said hi and seemed really nice and attentive to the other people working out, and they were joking and talking with the regulars. -- Michelle Levin http://www.mindspring.com/~lunachick I have only 3 flaws.
