I just bought and tried DREYERS Carb Smart ice cream today. It is quite
good. Very creamy. It comes in three flavors, Chocolate, Vanilla, and
Strawberry. 4 gr effective carbs per 1/2 cup.

I don't know if is available everywhere. I bought mine at Albertsons in
Southern California. On sale with the rest of DREYERS 2 for $7.00.

Gary 'Gatsby' Nichols

I've been having full bowls of chocolate BREYERS Carb Smart twice a day with
sprinkles of Splenda and a squirt of whip cream on top. [SWOON!]

I'm still losing weight, but I expect to need to reduce my portion size
soon.

Safeway had it on sale for $3.99, so I bought 6 quarts.

Okay. I I wonder how two different companies can both use the

They're not. It's Breyers that makes CarbSmart, not Dreyers.

Does this mean Dreyers and Breyers are the same company? Like
Hellmans and Best?

In spite of their similar name they are different companies.

Okay. I I wonder how two different companies can both use the
name "CarbSmart"? (That's why I asked my initial question.)

I speculate that they both licensed the name from Splenda.
