Default watermelon diet

hello,

lately, i only eat watermelon (half, sometimes who fruit) for dinner.
I have incredible appetite, but I'm surprise that watermelon can
really make me so full. sweet & tasty, good carbs. high fibre. lose 2
kg in a week easily. those who can eat like a pig (like me) and wish
to cut down food, do try watermelon

I don't know about calling it good carbs, it's not much better than
table sugar really. For someone like me who spikes his insulin levels
so easy, I might as well drink a liter of coke.

cut down the coke- sodium benzoate reacts with vitamin C resulting in
benzene :-)

I couldn't do the watermelon thing. I'm on a low carb regimen and all
that sugar would just bloat me up, not to mention give me a stomach
ache. I used to love some fruits but I just don't eat them unless they
are prepackaged and sugar free(Dannon Peaches).

I'll never forget being pregnant and talking with my doc about health
and food and what nutrition to worry about while pregnant. One
comment that has always stuck with me was a story about a pregnant
woman that ended up with diabetes ... why, because all she wanted to
eat was watermelon. The sugar content is so high that eating a whole
watermelon a day could really mess with your insulin levels.

You may be losing weight, but you aren't getting the nutrients your
body needs and you are subjecting your body to high levels of sugar -
neither of which are a very healthy way of going about things.
