And down another .2 lb this morning. That's 3.85 lb down over the last
4 days.

By the by, does anybody know how many calories are in a Sam's Club
pretzel?

You have a good heart...I'll never understand pet abuse...Of course children
are also abused as are adults...But there is something which turns in my
stomach when it involves pets...GG

the wrenching part is that this guy isn't old enough to be a mean cat or
anything, if he does have head trauma it was either accidental from the
mother moving him or just hideous abuse, there is a special place in hell
for animal abuser, Lee

Aaaaaaaaaaaah sweet... maybe he's just deaf? that's not that bad for an
indoor cat!

You're such a great pet mommie!

He is a beautiful smart wonderfully loving animal but when we had him for
his first vet visit DH noticed he held his head funny when walking, at
first
he thought it looked like my DF's cat who is very cross eyed. When the
vet
looked at him and examined him closer after watching him walk she
concluded
that he has suffered a head trauma at some point. we tried to catch this
guy a few months ago and couldn't get close enough so it has happened in
the
intervening time... flash forward to a few days after the vet visit... DH
says I think patch really has something wrong with him, he doesn't wake up
or start when a loud noise happens like the other cats... I called to him
and clapped my hands, nothing, DH tells me that when he goes to clean his
box or feed him patch doesn't wake unless DH touches him.

This of course means that getting him healthy taking him to a shelter is
out
of the question, and I was just sick because I know we really shouldn't
keep
him, but taking him to a shelter at worst means death and at the no kill,
he
still probably wouldn't get adopted... he is too a loving cat to live his
life in a shelter, even a good one... but the good news is that my dear
friend's son is going to adopt patch so I am no longer sick with worry
just
a little sad as I always am when I adopt a cat out. Lee

he does seem to be walking better now, and he is at least profoundly hard of
hearing, the good news is that mike is good with this, most people want to
adopt animals like children, they only want "perfect" or not at all... for
example... when I was trying to adopt Chester so stormmee could have a
playmate there was someone ahead of me, I was heart broken... then the
shelter calls, the people ahead of me thought he had ear mites so they
refused him... well, first off he didn't have ear mites, and second if that
is a reason to reject the love of such a great animal you don't deserve any
animal, ...except one that will bite your throat out, Lee
