Among other reasons, fluoride is a poison

Virtually every chemical in significant quantity is poisonous.
Certainly too much fluoride is unhealthy, but the quantities found in
drinking water are so miniscule they have had no effect on either
humans nor in animal testing trials with animals whos metabolism is
far more volatile and vulnerable to fluoride.

I personally don't trust any test done here in the US. I don't feel the
water were I live is safe to drink over time. JMHO.

Do you know how much fluoride is safe to consume? I don't know and no
one else seems to be able to tell me either. Since I have health

Fluoride is a heavy element, heavier than the water, so it sinks to
the bottom. Fluoride is thus only a problem with groundwater wells.
Fluoride is not added into the watersupply in my country. I don't know
about yours. If it is, and you've got a condition, then you're quite
right to be drinking unflorinated.

Fluoride is added in the US among many other chemicals in cities. Some
people in the country do enjoy better water. Where my dad lives in the
mountains of Penn. the water is much better and I actually drink tap water.

As far as buying bacteria bomb water bottles, that is what I do. I don't
concern myself with some bacteria. Our bodies are used to handling that.
Although now that people are stupid and using anti-bacterial soap, that may
change things, but the industry will be happy because it will force us into
using more powerful soaps and they will make more money. I don't know why
anyone would ever buy anti-bacterial soap? I just use vinegar if need be,
but don't bother with that often.

Lemon juice is often used as a liver cleanser and to stimulate the gall
bladder.

Ouch. You should try to get someone to do an independant test.

The tap water we have here is actually much cleaner than what you get
on bottles, save for one brand.

Well, it's sort of a shooting galley, really. If you expose yourself
to a large number of bacteria the risk is higher. You should check the
brand(s) of bottled water you buy. While some contain virtually no
bacteria, others were found to contain many thousand. Most were in the
mid-range. Anyway, I'd rather expose my body to easily tolerable
ammounts of chlorine and fluoride than that ammount of bacteria. And
if chlorine was really that harmful, in such small ammounts as in
drinking water, wouldn't people who have pools, hot tubs, swimmers and
the like and especially olympians be very, *very* sick? If it was
really that dangerous they should be on the virge of death. Yet not
even swimming in the ammounts of chlorine present in those conditions
seem to be dangerous.

Whatever they're putting in those soaps, isn't working. However, soap
contains a lot of fat, and is an excellent breeding ground for
bacteria. Along with keyboards, which on average have 25 times as much
bacteria on them as the average toilet seat :-)

I'd buy antibacterial soap if it worked, but the effect is only
marginal. I use liquid soap instead, on a can, and a squeeze button.
That prevents it from becoming a breeding ground. Most people don't
realize the anti-bacterial part of the soap is meant for the soap, not
your hands, heh.

They operate on the mistaken belief that the more you pay for something the
more intrinsic value it has.

My point is, a person cannot extrapolate
what the entire U.S. water is like from his small sample. That's just not
realistic!

Nor can a person claim the water on 1-2 towns is what the whole state has to
drink. I've lived all over California, and the water has ranged from completely
undrinkable to absolutely delicious!

Not strange at all. NYC's water comes directly from reservoirs up in
the Catskill mountains - still a relatively unspoiled area. The city's
had a reputation for a lot of years for its great tasting water.

Getting back to the original fluoride thing...personally, I'm glad we
have our own well (which we test every once in a while for pathogens).
Great tasting water...no chemicals added.

Funny, I heard on the radio about a month ago that NY used to rate #1 in the
world for their water. That rating has since been usurped, but it still "up
there" in quality.
