longer time lurker -- finally posting - "pre-diabetic"

I got a wake-up call yesterday .. after years of being "a few pounds
overweight (okay more than a few ;-), the fates have decided that my
"extra pounds" need to leave or my pre-diabetes will become a roary
diabetes sooner than later or so says my ever-lovin' doctor.

Hey Mary! I got the same nasty diagnosis as you about 11 weeks ago. I am now
20+ pounds lighter, and my bad blood number is now almost normal. It can be
done, and this group has been a HUGE help for me.
