Default Hot Wings & Sinuses

Today I bought a big bag of hot wings at Costco. 1 carb per 4 pieces. I'm not
real big on spicy-hot stuff, but I like it occasionally. I had 8 pieces for
dinner. I've been sick for almost a month. I've been a LOT better during this
last week, but still not up to par and I constantly have sticky wads at the
base of my throat which has me leery of overdoing it. Well, after eating the
wings, not only were my sinuses flowing freely, but I was EASILY coughing up
the wad in my throat -- well ****! If I'd known THAT, I would have been eating
hot wings every day by 3 weeks ago! Now that I know, I may have to eat them
daily for medicinal purposes :-)

LOL. DH the texan says peppers are good for what ails ya. It sweats out
the bad stuff.

revek personal fave, cayanne, although a good bitter hot chinese mustard
is nice too

Hot and Sour Soup is also excellent for helping to clear out your
sinuses! Of course, this assumes that the version you eat is
actually spicy. Nowadays, the renditions seem to be rather
tasteless.

Yep, I have been using that if I have congestion. Haven't been sick in a
few years, but when I am I eat hot stuff quite a bit. Indian food works
well too.

I use cayenne capsules for sinus and allergy. I have done this for
years, ever since a friend told me about it. But you must ALWAYS take
it with a full glass of water, or better yet, after a meal, or you
will have the worlds worst case of heartburn. I buy them at WalMart.

Or a nice fresh ground horseradish. I love a slice of roast beef rolled up
around a glob of horseradish.

First candy corn, now horseradish. These things do not even resemble food!
Y'all are nuts! Just kidding, kinda. I had a bad horseradish experience in
high school, someone gave me a half a slice of bread from their sandwich, I
folded it up and stuck the whole thing in my mouth, not knowing it was
DRENCHED in horseradish. Unbelievable pain. A very traumatic experience.
I am scarred for life. I can't even tolerate the slightest bit of
horseradish in sauces.
