Default Thank You, Jenny, BBQ Sauce Queen

Jenny,

Yours is the absolute BEST BBQ sauce we have ever tasted.

I was a little hesitant to try this because my husband had his own
homemade recipe. We are both very discerning when it comes to taste.

After reading so many other posters comments about how good your BBQ
recipe was, I decided to go ahead and make it,

My husband said this was the best he had ever tasted! He raved about
it to our neighbor, who tasted it and also wanted the recipe.

Folks, anyone looking for an incredible BBQ sauce, TRY THIS ONE!
You won't be disappointed!

Jenny, THANK YOU for posting this recipe to our group.

Indispensable Almost No Carb Barbecue Sauce

Recipe By :Jenny the Bean (asdlc)
Categories : condiment low-carb

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
6 T vinegar
15 ounces tomato sauce -- plain
3 T Worcestershire sauce
3/4 T Frank's Hot Sauce
3/4 T salt -- optional
1 dash cayenne pepper
3 t lemon juice
1 1/2 t liquid smoke flavoring
2 T Splendaź granular -- (18 drops liquid)
1 1/2 T yellow mustard (opt)

Add vinegar and all other ingredients except mustard to a sauce pan
and slowly heat. Put mustard in a cup and slowly stir in a couple
tablespoons of sauce until well blended. Add mustard mixture back to
sauce in pan. Bring to a boil, and lower heat. Let simmer for a few
minutes. Let cool, then refrigerate.

Note: this sauce will taste a bit peculiar if you taste it when it is
still hot. Don't worry! Something magical happens when it sits in the
fridge.

Carbohydrates per Serving (1 tablespoon): Less than 1 gram. Half an
ounce is 1 gm carbs, 6 calories.

I can't agree enough, PoohBear! We love the stuff, too. We thicken
it with xanthan gum to give it a little body, but the flavor is
absolutely perfect! Thanks again, Jenny!

How much xanthan gum do you use?
