Default the truth about atkins

Hi I used the Atkins Diet for 12 months , and yes you do lose weight at
first , quit fast lost two and a half stone in 4 months then it slows down
and stops for the last 6 month my weight stuck , I have concluded it only
works if you have a lot of fat to get rid of , now stick to a low fat
Balanced Diet and watch the calories , slowly dropping 1 kg a week ,this
seams to work better long term.
As for Safe Atkins is unbalanced , and you must take Multivitamins
supplements all the time to of set this , even so I still got lower leg
cramps and had to increase potassium intake.
Lastly fitness , as I use a gym and cycle to work , when cycling in the
morning your legs fatigue quickly the body has to work harder to on low carb
to provide energy , I know this as I use a hart rate monitor , running on
the tread mill on low carb for a fixed speed had a lot higher hart rate than
when I came of low carb back to " normal Food " .

Default the truth about atkins

I felt "guilty" on Atkins because of all the saturated fat and fatty foods I
was eating. I did lose some weight but I felt like I was full of grease. I
didn't like that there was somewhat of a limit on veggies on Atkins. I am on
South Beach and I feel great. I feel like I'm actually doing something good
for my body. I'm paying attention to different types of fats and learning
which are good for me and bad. I also like the fact that it takes a more
natural approach in terms of processed foods. Also, having a "forbidden"
list turns me off but knowing that I can have anything but in moderation
once I get to a certain point helps me. I had no trouble with phase one, the
strictest phase and didn't feel deprived of the foods I love.
