Setting a Goal
wrote in message oups.com... What do you think? How have you set your goals? I did not join WW (my wife signed me up for e-diets, and then signed up for WW on-line) so I just picked a number and that was going to be my goal. I was at 265 and my goal was to be to 200 by December 31. A goal has to be attainable so we don't get discouraged. If you set what you want to high it may cause you to get discouraged early in the progress and quit. For me, things like this type of a goal are game. I want to do it just to say I did. I am now at 215 and have been told I don't need to lose anymore. But I want to win Besides I am really enjoying what I am eating lately. Never realized how much I like salad. But remember to set a realistic goal, be it with weight loss or anything else (performance review time is upon me.) Don't set it to low so you will settle, don't set it to high so you will quit. |
