I do like you. Eddie! You have a very good heart.

Last week, I spent $180 on her, $120 on daughter who has also lost 52lbs
and
$150 on myself!

Whoo Hoo! Good for her, too! Can I be rude and ask her age?

It's quite a bit of money, but it feels so good and I love the smiles on
their faces!

That look is priceless - for everything else, there's Barclaycard, to

Nice going Willow!!!!!!!! It's a great feeling eh?

I'm not Willow, but I know how you feel!

I am just wondering. Everybody in this thread has been saying about
how much they are spending on new clothing, It makes me curious how
much everybody is saving by not buying all of that extra food.

Just a thought.

When I first started this, I made a deal with my husband, I was
experimenting with cooking, and I said I would cook every meals (we were
eating out a LOT) but I wouldn't hesitate to buy the ingredients I need, no
matter how pricey...

First real cooking week, we spend about 120$ on groceries, for just the two
of us... DH kinda had a quiet panick attack, but didn't say anything...

6 Months later, after I'd discovered a fish market, gourmet oils, and then
some, I guiltily asked how much more it was costing to eat this way than
what we used to do....

DH looked at me and said "Keep going, we're saving about 600$/month"

I happily kept going and asked for half that 600 to do some shopping...

Hey.. should be paid for my pains right?

Since we ate out at LEAST every other day, and bought junk food everyday...
we did save a huge amount of money..

you're thinking out of the box again eh Ralph? hehehe!

I save tons of money by not eating out as much
anymore.................planning ahead, cooking and eating healthy takes
effort - it's always easier to just run out and grab
something..........hence one of the biggest problems I faced for many years.

I know that healthy choices can be made when eating out, but it's all those
times of being in a hurry that McDonald's or Burger King or Harvey's or
Wendy's or Fish and Chips or KFC or Pizza were such a quick and easy way
out.

Not any more for me!.........

(4)
finishing up negotiations on this house I'm buying in St. Louis.

Finally I decided - I better report back in!

Hi all,

Happy to report that I lost 2.2 lbs this week bringing my grand total

to
76.8 lbs.

It's been just over one year and joining WW has been the most positive
life-improving thing that I've ever done.

The support from my family, friends, this NG and from my weekly meeting
group has been overwhelming and I actually believe in my heart that I

can
do
this for life and still lose another 100 lbs...

Taking things one day at a time, but feeling really good about all of

the
NSV's I've achieved in the last year, especially yesterday when I bench
pressed 190 lbs!!!!
