Default Starting week 3 and I am hungry!

I wasn't hungry during weeks 1 and 2 - but now I am starving! What's
up with that? I have lost 4.8 lbs so far - maybe my metabolism has
been kick-started? I am sticking to daily points for the most part -
usually just 1 or 2 weekly points per day extra.

Default Starting week 3 and I am hungry!

I notice there are certain days where I just have the munchies all day long.
Usually I like eating low calorie during the day and saving my calories for
the evening. But on those days when I get the munchies I give in to my body
and snack and snack and snack all throughout the day.

Usually I get full enough so that the evening is ok - but sometimes I even
need to go a few hundred calories into my bonus on such days.

Other days it seems I can get by with hundreds of calories less and I don't
feel hungry at all.

So my suggestion to you is if you are hungry then EAT! Use your free
points. Eat some 50-150 calorie snacks: banana, apple, watermelon, some
edamame, some soup (I just had a 168 calorie "curry soup" from the
convenience store with chicken and potatoes and corn in it - very
comfort-food-satisfying),some of those "100 calorie Nabisco snack packs",
etc.

I think the worst thing you can do though is try to use incredible
will-power to ignore your hunger because it will gnaw at you.

It's better to just shift around your eating patterns on days that happens
and use your calories (within program of course) to get rid of the hunger.

Is there enough bulk in your diet? You might need to munch on some raw
zero point vegetables, or a zero point soup or two as well as all the
counted stuff. And are you getting enough protein?

your body has figured out you are eating less and is trying to compensate,
stick it out for a week or so and you will be fine, Lee

I wasn't hungry the first 2 weeks either. I'm hungry now but still had to
cut points as I was stuck for 8 days at the same weight (maintaining).
Being hungry most of the time and not losing can be very discouraging. I
had to drop my points even lower to lose anything. That worked as I was
down a pound this morning. Now I'm *really* starving. (

Lunch today will be 1/2 cup fat-free cottage cheese (80c) and 1 Tbs. of
sugar free Blackberry preserves (10c) = about 1 pt. I'll be hungry again
about 20 minutes later.

Be sure you don't drink MORE than your body needs or you can deplete and
disrupt your electrolyte balance. That can be dangerous I was told.

this would be 2 points using the ww slider and if you think 8 days is a
stall you are in for a rough ride, Lee

you have to drink way more than most people can handle to do this, most
people will frankly hurl long before that point, Lee
