blood type diet
ChristyLynn wrote: Has anyone done the blood type diet? I know some people who absolutely swear by it, though personally, I am not convinced of its validity. If you look on the d'damo's web page discussion forum you will also see many othes that swear by it. What I recall from the book, in a nutshell, is that a person of Type O should eat a low carbohydate diet and a person with type A should eat a low fat high carbohyrdate diet and type B and AB were somewhere in between. This is further refined by the claim that people of X type should concentrate on certain foods and avoid certain others. While some poeople do thrive on low fat diet, I believe that the percentage of people is fairly low and certainly lower than the 45% (or so) of the population that is blood type A. When confronted with this, the people that swear by the diet tend to say that the book is based upon old research and has been refined greatly and will be updated again shortly. |

blood type diet
On Nov 7, 6:45 pm, "ChristyLynn" wrote: Has anyone done the blood type diet? Key word there is DIET .. ALL diets 'work' because you eat less calories per day than you use .. Simple cause and effect .. wow rocket science ... The problem is taking that 'diet' and making it sustainable to change your eating habits for the rest of your life. Does this particular diet teach you anything that you can follow forever? Nutritional knowledge? No it doesnt. Put it in the crap pile of useless diets. joanne |
