Imagine:

444 quarter-pound sticks of butter;

222 paperback books or CDs,

four Trek Navigators and a couple of wheels;

six small dogs;

those are visual images of the weight I've lost.

Your turn. What are your visual images for you weight loss?

I remember doing this once with watermelons -- don't recall how many,
though :-). However, what was more interesting to me not visual, but
really experiencing the weight -- just walking around the gym holding
as much weight as I'd lost -- ultimately two 60 lb. dumbbells. It's
hard to believe I was once carrying that much weight around all day
long.

That's amazing, especially when you stop and consider how heavy even a
5-pound bag of flour feels.

So far, I've lost 28 pounds, it seems like so much extra weight to
carry around.

Next time you go to the grocery store, pick up a 10 lbs bag of potatoes, and
carry it around the whole time you're shopping...

It's only 10 lbs.. believe me, it gets heavy after a while.. I lost 70!

I do the potato bag thing every once in a while... keeps me motivated..

Have you tried picking them up and carrying them around for a few
hours to remind you how it felt?
